Replace check calls with live GPS tracking: $0.65 per load
A PingPoint load shows the driver's live position on a map from pickup to delivery, with arrivals and departures at each stop logged automatically. When a load is late, goes silent for 20 minutes or sits at a stop over 60 minutes, you get an e-mail.
$0.65 per load · $0.02 per position read over the API · live map and tracking link in the cabinet free · no subscription
What replaces the call
- Where is the truck? The live map on the load, updated from the PingPoint Driver app.
- Did it arrive / leave? Geofence events record
arrivedAt and departedAt for every stop. See geofence statuses. - Is it running late? A LATE alert when the delivery window has passed. See alerts.
- Is the driver still sharing? A NO_SIGNAL alert after 20 minutes without a position, and a visible state when the driver declined tracking.
- When will it get there? The ETA button on a load ($0.02 per request) gives the ETA to the next stop.
What it does not replace
PingPoint tracks the driver's phone. It does not read the truck's ELD, and it cannot track a driver who has not installed the app or has turned off location sharing — in that case you see that state on the load.
How PingPoint connects. You sign up with email, Google or GitHub and start with a $10 credit. The driver gets a text message with a link and installs the free PingPoint Driver app (
iPhone,
Android) — no driver account. The carrier and the dispatcher don't need to set anything up.
