For drivers: the PingPoint tracking text, the app and when tracking stops

Your broker uses PingPoint to see where the load is without calling you for updates. You get a text with a link, install the free PingPoint Driver app and allow location. Tracking is tied to the load and stops after delivery.

What the text message looks like

Text message from PingPoint (demo broker name):

PingPoint: DEMO FREIGHT LLC requires real time location updates on your load. Tap to view load details and start tracking: https://pingpoint.suverse.io/driver/drv_… Reply STOP to opt out

The broker's company name is in capital letters. The link is personal to you and your load: don't forward it. Reply STOP to stop these texts. If you're not sure the text is real, call the broker on a number you already know.

What to install

The free PingPoint Driver app: iPhone (App Store) or Android (Google Play). Tapping the link in the text takes you to the right store. If the app is already installed, the link opens the load in it. You don't need an account or a password.

Which permissions the app asks for

When tracking stops

Tracking runs only while you have an active load. With no load, the app doesn't send your position.

No signal?

Keep the app installed and location on. The app stores positions on the phone while there is no signal and sends them when the signal returns.

Who sees your location

The broker on that load and anyone they give the load's tracking link to, usually the shipper or receiver. PingPoint never sells driver location. Privacy policy and data deletion: privacy. Questions: info@suverse.io.
